Beet Soup

Beets in addition to being great for preparing fresh salad, we can also use it to prepare super tasty soup full of health.

Besides being healthy, beet is also cheap, and you will have a tasty meal for a little money.

 

Beet Soup Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 kg beets
  • 1 onion
  • 3 liters water
  • 200 g cream
  • butter
  • salt
  • parsley
  • other spices as desired

 

 PREPARATION:

  1. Wash the vegetables and cook it. Peel the beetroot and blend it. After that, put it in the vegetables. Add the cream and a little butter.
  2. Salt and decorate with parsley.
  3. Add to the mixture other spices and herbs as desired.

Tomato Soup Recipe

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 500 g tomatoes (or tomato puree)
  • 2-3 carrots
  • 1 celery
  • 1 parsnips
  • bay leaf
  • parsley
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • rice

 

PREPARATION:

Wash the vegetables and chop finely. Cook it with a little oil for a few minutes until soften. Cover with water and add the peeled tomatoes (or tomato puree). Season the soup to taste. Add the chopped parsley and bay leaf. If you prepare the soup from fresh tomatoes, add one spoon of sugar. In deeper bowl mash the entire mixture. If the mixture is too thick add some water or if too thin add tomato paste. Optionally you can add a little rice for richer flavor and density.

 

AdviceInstead of chopping the vegetables you can grate them.
