Valerian Tea for Neural Diseases
Valerian tea has been used for ages in the treatment of different kinds of neural diseases.
Healing part of the herb: for the preparation of this medicine it is used the root and it is gathered in autumn.
Treatment: tea made from valerian root has been successfully used in all neural diseases. Excellent results are achieved with epilepsy, hysteria, hypochondria, and spasms around the heart, nervous cramps in the trachea, chest (during asthma), stomach and intestines.
It is recommended for the treatment of neural headaches, migraine, dizziness and vomiting. It is used in three ways: in general anxiety and nervousness that may further increase due to irritation, in insomnia that occurs as a result of anxieties, especially during the neural heart difficulties accompanied by increased heart rate, and in a feeling of fear around the heart area.
In general, in the occurrence of difficulties in digestion because of the anxieties or in low digestive secretions in the stomach and intestines, in the nervousness caused by convulsive states with a feeling of nausea, in nervous vomiting and convulsive attacks due to gases bloating – valerian tea is a very good natural cure. Moreover, this tea is not harmful, and it is also tested as an effective mean in the quitting of harmful use of alcohol and nicotine.
This tea should not be used longer than three weeks, and it is necessary to make a break of five weeks. Valerian tea lowers the blood pressure and makes you drowsy, so in case of low blood pressure is better to use hawthorn tea (Crataegus oxyacantha).
Tea mixture for neural disorders (Species nervinae)
It is necessary 30 grams of valerian, 30 grams of mint leaves (Mentha piperita), 40 grams of bitter clover leaves (Menyanthes trifoliata).
One tablespoon of this mixture pour with 2,5dl of boiling water, then leave it in a sealed container about half an hour and after that drain. Drink this tea warm, three times a day in a small glass.
For nervousness, heart difficulties and blood pressure disorders
It’s necessary a mixture of 15 grams of valerian, hawthorn blossom (Crataegus oxyacantha), lavender (Lavandula vera), cumin (Carum carvi) and 15 grams of lemon balm (Melissa officinalis).
Three tablespoons of the mixture pour with half a liter of boiling water, then close the container, and leave it for two hours, then drain. Drink this tea sweetened with honey, divided into four equal portions throughout the day.
